Public Torah Scribing with Nariya Communal Singing. Join us for an exciting partnership program, bringing together song and scribing. Rabbi Micah Shapiro will lead communal singing while Rabbi Bec Richman scribes a piece of the Torah. Rabbi Bec will share some reflections on her writing and the integration of art forms in Jewish tradition. We will open for Q&A and time for folks to come up to help write a letter in the scroll.
All are invited to come early and/or stay after for open studio hours, 2:30-3:30 pm and 5-5:30 pm, a chance to simply witness the writing of sacred text. Program from 3:30-5:00 pm.
