We have been studying chapter 2 of Beitzah, specifically the laws of Eruv Tavshilin to allow cooking for the upcoming Shabbat on a Yom Tov immedicately preceding Shabbat. Normally, one is able to cook on Yom Tov, but only for food that will be eaten that day.

We will be revieiwing htis topic in the Mishna, and  use the shullchan Aruch for help in getting a sense of this law in the present day – not thaat it has changed so much over the centuries.
