Special morning service, Torah scribing activity, brunch with Rabbi Bec

Weekday morning services will celebrate the one-year anniversary of our Adult B’nai Mitzvah Class and the 50th anniversary of Rabbi Ungar’s bar mitzvah! A festive brunch will follow, about 10:45 AM.
11:45 am – All are invited to see a portion of the new Torah that Rabbi Bec Richman is scribing for our community. Everyone (of any age!) is invited to a hands-on, low-key, playful scribing workshop (12-1:30 PM). Rabbi Bec will demonstrate quill cutting and writing and guide our exploration of quills and ink (most of us for the very first time). Please RSVP to [email protected] by May 3 for brunch (so our chefs can plan) and for calligraphy (so we can have scribing materials ready for all who wish to explore that skill).
