Pesach beckons to us, with its precisely times entrrance., its recitation of an epic story, and its special rituals and special foods.
The seder is not just a verbal story. We also tell the story through Food central to the story itself.

The four cups of wine and dipping our fingers into the wine as we recall the plagues
The four questions – matzoh, bitter herbs, dipping, reclining
Rabban Gamliel and the mishna that closes out the main portion of the story
The Hillel sandwich
The seder meal
and not ot forget the search for food, the burning of the chametz and the Korban Pesach
We will go through the 10th chapter of Pesachim with special reference to food: he obligations to providing food for the needy, the four questions and Rabban Gamliel’s pronouncement
